Product had a few dings on it but has worked like a charm since I started using early 2009. The seller were great….quick to respond to email.

  2. Similar to the dough hook, this is a replacement for the OEM burnished beater blade that comes with the professional series mixers. It’s the same part, so no complaints there, but I’m still frustrated by the use of burnished aluminum. Vinyl replacements are probably the better options in terms of ease of use and cleanup, though I wish they could find a way to just deliver a stainless version instead. In any event, works fine, but not stellar. There is some flashing left from the manufacturing process, and the tolerance against the edge of the bowl is loose enough that hitting the bowl with a spatula is still required.
